Tennessee's New Way of Procuring Radios

Yesterday, Route Fifty published an Op-Ed by NASPO Executive Director DeLaine Bender titled "A New Way of Procuring Radios? Roger That." This article features Tennessee's contracting improvements to their procuring of radios and related contracts.

Tennessee received the Gold Award in the 2016 George Cronin Awards for Procurement Excellence for their innovative thinking and shared their process with us during their presentation in the Cronin Webinar Series. Be sure to check it out for tips and tricks on how to consolidate and streamline your radio contracts.

If you have an innovative program that has improved service to stakeholders, reduced costs and can be replicated by other states, consider submitting that program to this year's Cronin Awards. Submission deadline is Friday, July 14
